The following prices only apply to residential households. Please refer to our Business Services for dedicated file/application servers using Windows NT/2000.

Operating system setup (Win 98, NT/2000 Workstation, XP)$40Per machine. Includes all available service packs and security updates. Also includes Client network setup at no additional charge.
Diagnostics/repair/upgrade$40Per hour.
Miscellaneous labor$40Per hour.
Travel charges$10Per trip. Excluded for initial consultation.
Productivity/game software is installed and configured under the Miscellaneous Labor rate.

The following prices only apply to residential peer-to-peer networks. Dedicated file/application servers using Windows NT/2000 are billed as Business Services.
Survey of area and machinesFree!Limited to 2 hour on-site consultation. This includes recommendations for hardware and software.
Router setup and configuration$50Per router, per network.
Client setup (Win 95/98, NT/2000 Workstation, XP)$60Per client.
Network card installation$15Per client.
Miscellaneous labor$40Per hour.
Travel charges$10Per trip. Excluded for initial consultation.
Network hardware, cabling, and other supplies are not included in the standard pricing. Price quotes for any necessary hardware will be given after the consultation is complete. Ethernet cabling is installed at the Miscellaneous hourly rate. Ethernet cabling installed in a multi-story building, or requiring extensive installation, may be installed using your usual electrical contractor. Metallisoft will supervise the installation free of additional Miscellaneous labor charges.

Installation of 3rd party network applications such as FTP or Instant messaging are also not included in the standard pricing. These extra services are billed at our Miscellaneous labor rates. Metallisoft does not provide services for file sharing software like Napster or Morpheus.

An estimate can be provided for your specific situation when the survey is done. The survey includes measurement of distances and/or signal strengths, possible network options, parts and equipment list and other recommendations.
